The Boya BY-M1000 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone that is designed for use in professional recording and broadcast applications. It features three selectable polar patterns (cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8) that allow you to tailor the microphone’s response to the specific needs of your recording environment.
The microphone has a frequency response range of 20Hz to 20kHz and a sensitivity of -32dB +/-3dB. It also includes a -10dB pad switch that allows you to capture audio in high sound pressure level environments, as well as a low-cut filter switch that helps to reduce low-frequency noise.
The BY-M1000 is constructed with a rugged metal body and includes a shock mount and pop filter to help reduce handling noise and plosives, respectively. It also includes a 5/8″-27 threaded mount that allows it to be easily mounted to a boom arm or microphone stand.
